- Introduction:
- ------------------
-
- Welcome to CDRunner! CDRunner was designed
- to make the digital life easier for all of us. CDRunner
- makes Windows 95's AutoRun/AutoPlay behave as it
- should- regardless of whether or not your
- hardware supports it!!! While CDRunner is active
- all you now have to do to run that favorite CD
- is put it in the drive! CDRunner will take it
- from there. Here's a breakdown of some of the
- features included in CDRunner (Version 3):
-
- * Remembers CD-ROM data, and associated
- executables.
- * Supports multiple title CD's and allows
- you to choose what you want to run when
- the CD is inserted.
- * Can be set up to use CD-ROMs with ANY
- programs you want to use them with
- * AutoRuns CD-ROMs even if they were not
- designed for Windows 95 AutoRun or even
- if your hardware will not use AutoRun/Play!
- * Keeps track of Audio-CD's
- * Plays Audio-CD's with a full featured
- programmable CD Player. Also supports
- the Windows 95 CDPlayer.
- * Allows you to edit Audio-CD information
- such as titles, and artist!
-
- Installation:
- ----------------
- Once you have run the setup program, simply create a
- shortcut to CDRunner in your startup group. This is
- not required, but definately recommended! Then just
- click it to get going! That's it! Now the next time
- you insert a CD into your drive CDRunner will do
- it's job! If you do not have AutoRun capabilities
- with your hardware please see Hints and Tips under
- Compatiblity Mode for special instructions.
-
